This first post is just to say hello to everyone who chooses to accept my invitation to follow my adventures while I'm travelling around the Eastern Mediterranean.
I hope to post something for every day of travelling, however, I can't be certain of connectivity (or time), so it might be a bit patchier than that. We'll see.
The Blog title is from the idea that at fifty, I've reached halfway. Well, in big sporting matches there's often a Half Time Show these days. This is my celebration for getting to halfway and before I run on for the second half of my life.
